Cain and I just finished a tribute to Michael Jackson at the skate park in downtown Spokane. The piece is 7 1/2 feet tall and is a stencil on concrete. This was a totally different concept from our McCain and Obama piece
in the fact that it is a legal place to do street art. What a great feeling it was to be out there painting in the open, in mid morning, with my mom, my Nug, and my brother. The site is 3 blocks from downtown where Hoopfest was being held, the largest 3 on 3 basketball tournament in the world. Throughout the 2 hours that it took to complete this piece people were constantly stopping to watch us paint.
The coolest thing I heard was from 2 kids on a skateboard. They came up to Cain and I and said "That's sick man," and then they both thanked us for doing our piece there. Awesome feeling.
